Booking Conditions

1. No refunds or exchanges are possible once a booking is complete and payment received.
2. If minimum bookings are not reached, then the workshop will be cancelled and payment will be refunded. If a workshop is cancelled, every effort will be made to contact you a minimum of 48 hours before the scheduled start time.
3. Proof of concession (health care card) must be shown at time of payment.
4. Please inform Carclew of any individual needs your child has.eg wheelchair access , medical condition. This information will remain confidential and allow us to deliver greater service to your child.
5. Workshops are offered on a first come first served basis.

Mail
Send us a cheque or money order, payable to Carclew Youth Arts, 11 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide SA 5006. Please include date, time, age range and title of the workshops you have enrolled in and the name of the child/children you are paying for.

In person
You can pay by cash, EFTPOS or credit card at Carclew’s reception, Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm, 11 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide.


OTHER POINTS TO NOTE

• All participants must be over the age of five and have spent at least one term in school to be eligible to enrol.

• Parents/Carers must remain with their child until the workshop begins. Please encourage your child to dress in clothes appropriate to the workshop.

• Carclew Youth Arts  does not accept responsibility
for any personal property left at workshops, damage to clothes, nor does it accept liability for any personal injury, unless such an injury is caused through negligence on the part of a Carclew employee.

Stay for the day
If participants are booked for a morning and afternoon workshop, they can bring their lunch and recess and will be supervised between workshop sessions. Please note the fee for this service is $5.00 per participant.

Artworks
Many of the artworks that are created at workshops need to be fired or dried and will be available for collection from Carclew. Carclew takes no responsibility for lost or damaged artwork, please note that artwork that is not collected within three months may be discarded.

Sun and Fun Policy
All participants are required to bring their own drinks, sunscreen and hat. No hat, no sunscreen, no play!

Drop off and pick up
All participants must be signed in and out of workshops by a parent or guardian. Please notify us if someone other than you will be collecting your child at the end of the workshop.

Workshop Packages
We offer group workshop packages . Minimum 10 children Max 15 children .
The program can be tailored to suit participants needs and can be held at Carclew or offsite.

Workshop Specials
Two hour workshops, book two or more 2 hour workshops and receive $5 discount on each workshop.

Can’t find Carclew Youth ArtsWe’re at 11 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide, directly opposite the Colonel Light statue.
Catch buses 235, 236 or 237 from stop V2 (on Currie Street). Alternatively there are buses 231, 232 or 233 from stop Z3 (on King William Street in front of the Adelaide Festival Centre). Carclew is stop 3 on Jeffcott Street, at the top of Pennington Tce. Parking is available on Strangways Terrace and Jeffcott Street.

  • If you are a brilliant young visual artists and would like to get your work out there being seen we would love to hear from you for our Fifth Floor project.Fifth Floor is an initiative of the Adelaide City Council and Carclew Youth Arts to provide young and emerging artists with exhibiting opportunities in Adelaide City Council venues.   • For Hire
    We open up our doors to young artists needing space and equipment to explore their arts practice. Carclew is housed in a beautiful building with stunning rooms, a band rehearsal room, art room and b&w dark room all available to you.
