CASE STUDIES - these are real stories about artists working in schools!
The Artists in Schools program provides for residencies in schools by professional artists with a high level of expertise and credibility in their art form. It is designed to develop in students an appreciation of and involvement in the arts, by promoting close interaction between students and professional arts practitioners. It is also aimed at raising the awareness of students and members of the school community about the artistic process as well as profiling the arts as a legitimate career choice.

The Department of Education and Children's Services and the South Australian Youth Arts Board fund the program, which is managed by Carclew Youth Arts.
